Miami restaurant

I just made a reservation at Trulucks ( Miami) for an early dinner ( 4 0'clock)  the night before our cruise. The web site says the dress is upscale. Will my DH require a jacket and tie? We will be staying at the Intercontinental will the restaurant be a comfortable walking distance ?

It looks like it's about a mile away if I'm reading Google Maps correctly.

@snorkle lover Miami is quite laid back. Your husband will not need a jacket and tie. Of course, he can wear either or both of he wants to. 
 

Google Maps shows the walk to be 12 minutes, 0.6 miles. It’s a safe area.

I have walked across that bridge before,  not picturesque, but doable.  Less than a mile.  Walk over,  take a Uber back if you didn’t like it.

We have dined at Trulucks and I (the DH) wore a golf shirt and slacks and looked and felt completely comfortable.

When we stayed at the Intercontinental last year we took an Uber to Trulucks.  We would not walk it, but it was dark when we went.

Thank you for all the advice about both distance and attire for Trulucks. Happy to hear that my DH won't require a tie and jacket. We will probably walk and Uber back.

Lovely restaurant. If you enjoy stone crab claws, excellent here . 
Just perfect for a pre cruise experience. Will be dining here on

We are now truly excited. We both love Stone crab claws and used to get them often when we lived in FL. Counting down the days.

Two weeks ago we had a scrumptious dinner of stone crab claws..2 courses…couldn’t resist , then a modest entree. Absolutely delicious. Great service. Hope that you enjoy yours!
