Is it usual to receive travel info like flight and hotels only 6 weeks out? I am cruising with Azamara.

Why don't you post this question in the "Azamara" sub-forum of CC.

You'll get responses from those who are familiar with Azamara policies specifically.

If you purchased the air and hotel thru the cruise line? Then yes.

These are consolidator tickets and the cruise line doesn't even pay the airline until about 6 weeks out. Even though they have taken your money, they don't commit their funds to the airline or hotel until this time.

Your airline tickets and hotel reservations are NOT the exact same tickets you would receive had you booked directly. 99% of the time, you the consumer would not feel any difference.
