Booked with maiden name, sail with married name

Well, they're "free" if the name change is within the first year that the passport was issued.

I was in the same situation. I booked using my maiden and did not change my last name right away. I waited until after the trip. 

Better to be safe then rely on weddings, paperwork, passports and the mail. 

 

It is not her legal name until it is. I wouldn't risk loosing the money. Call customer service and ask if the name can be updated once the documents are in hand.

So the wedding is way WAY over final payment date? Shouldn't be any issue for a CVP or TA to change her name on booking. IMHO book under current name, change after getting new passport
