It's A Mystery why Ovation of the seas cancelled last week but apparently P&O could tender there ? 🤔

It depends on the seas on the day (time) you arrive, a princess cruise we were on skipped it, and went to Champaign Bay instead.

Luck of the draw I'm afraid.😧

Lucky you Hogbay 🙂..... last week after checking they handed out amended itinerary notice , no alterations just cancelled.

As I say, luck of the draw, I've had some ports cancelled, and some substituted.

Much prefer substituting than straight out cancelling, but they don't seem to ask me first.🤣

Yep, I spotted the Mystery last week. Unless some of the P&O passengers trashed the cannibal pot, I think you were fobbed-off with a BS excuse.

Tender wharf broken - no.

Tender wharf inadequate for Ovation/Quantum numbers - quite possible.

Too many passengers?

Ovation - 4000- 5000 passengers

Biggest P&O ship - 2600- 3000 passengers probably.

I don’t think it was anywhere near full that cruise. There where a heap of unsold suites .
We went to the holiday inn in Vila that trip and I was talking to some people ( I can’t say who )and they said there was nothing wrong with the wharf.

I think there’s some politics involved Julie.

They have signed a 75 year lease on Lelepa and the wheels have fallen off it.
