Packing Question - Boots?

If one is not used to boots - I would probably avoid them. Also - I don't think boots will make one dryer than waterproof shoes. Key is water proof.

 

I went hiking boots when shoveling show and hiking, otherwise, when walking in snow - water proof shoes is good enough (I live where there is a lot of snow).
