rtdiva Posted December 27, 2022 #26 Share Posted December 27, 2022 I’ve got to add this: bring several bras. I experienced having an uncomfortable rash between my boobs from wearing a bra that I hadn’t washed after wearing it. The rash never completely went away. Several you tube posters show they bring purses to use onboard. I bring an envelope sized silk bag, filled with jewelry for travel, then used for evening; iPhone, room card, tissue, lipstick. For onboard day time I use an unstructured hobo bag, often given free by the cruise line for carrying books, lotion etc.
bluetardis Posted December 27, 2022 #27 Share Posted December 27, 2022 I do bring a wristlet for dinners to carry lipstick, phone and keycard. I also card a tote for port and beach days. But I haven’t found the need for an actual purse on a cruise

I have a navy and white striped one that has a zipper and fold over flap and another that is a large woven envelope with magnetic clasp that is made of some type of straw/reeds.

I also use a zippered box for rings & earrings. I tried the straw trick once & hubs threw it out thinking it was trash I like "statement pieces" on other people, but I'm too small to wear them. They make me feel self-conscious. 16 hours ago, bluetardis said: I do bring a wristlet for dinners to carry lipstick, phone and keycard. I also card a tote for port and beach days. But I haven’t found the need for an actual purse on a cruise I bring three bags: - A small backpack as a carry-on, which doubles as an island bag. - A small pool tote, which I've had for years -- it was originally full of nice products from Bath & Body Works. - A wristlet (about 6x8"), which I always take to dinner and sometimes carry around the ship. It's just big enough to carry my husband's reading glasses, a lipstick, my ship ID and maybe a couple dollar bills.
