Puerto Plata - Taxi / Guide for (4)

Looking for the best way to hire a taxi / guide service for 4 people for 4-5 hours and what is the approx cost. Would like to go to the Tram, stop in town and see some sights.

did you ever find one? Looking for a similar itinerary for 2 adults and 2 kids. Hoping to do the cable car, amber museum, Umbrella street, maybe the fort but not required. Seeing some tours but they include things like rum factory and I'm not interested in that.

Outside the gates of Taino Bay cruise port there are many people offering excursions.

Curious if any of you walked out of the port and to town on your own? If so how was that and the walk?

If you took a taxi to town, what did that cost?
