Rotterdam currently dealing with a medical evacuation

We had 6 medical situations on Zuiderdam recently.  Several handled on the ship, one person taken off at San Diego before we were underway and two medical evacuations at sea.  We missed one port due to the delay which was understandable.  I was thinking how long that evac took, since we were out at sea and hoped and prayed the person was alright.

In the middle of the night at 3am I felt a big slam on the ship and thought maybe it was wind and waves picking up.  The captain came on in the morning and said there was an evac at 3am.  Again, I was thinking how long all of this takes to organize considering where we were.

What is the Valiant Lady's message on the side of the ship?

We docked next to her in San Juan, Puerto Rico in November.  I saw this and thought Virgin is definitely doing something right.

It looks like "Hola" - meaning Hello in Spanish.

They are indeed....but it's not for everyone.

The uptight and closed-minded would have a tough time.

Virgin is winning many folks over, and attracting many first-time cruisers.

No announcements to interrupt your day. No photographers slowing down embarkation and disembarkation.  No cruise director. No art auctions. No MDR.

We cancelled our future Princess bookings while on our 1st Virgin sailing, and can't foresee going back.

Cardiac problems revealed by a stressful travel day and more physical exertion than usual.  After sitting down and resting, they finally realize they still feel like death, or, more likely, their wife thinks so.  Also, trips and falls in new environments.
