My comments on December 4  seven night Meraviglia cruise in Yacht Club from Port Canaveral Terminal 10. We were told 2300 passengers and 160 in Yacht Club.

🌴 Embarcation - the Yacht Club Embarcation lounge was small and very crowded. The usual snacks and sodas were not offered, just some candy, water, and Champagne.

🌴 Dining room food and service excellent.

🌴 Tried to book Diamond dinner on Day 4 at Butchers Cut, but was sold out for rest of cruise.

🌴 ship ran out of 7-up zero and Sprite Zero half way thru cruise.

🌴 Disembarking for tender at Belize a total disaster. - ramp for disabled broke down and created a problem for all. Windy conditions did not help as ship had to be repositioned for tender to tie up.

🌴 Received bottle of Grey Goose and Prosecco.  Chocolates every night. Macaroons half way thru cruise, no chocolate ship.

🌴 Butler invisible for the most part. Did escort us off ship at end of cruise. On our previous 3 yacht club cruises, the butlers seemed to appear every day at meal time to escort to dinner and show.- almost too much attention.

🌴 Shows were pretty good. My favorite was the Rock show - think it was Born to Rock. Plenty of empty seats in 9:30 show

🌴 Itinerary boring - 2 days at Ocean Cay, Belize (City), and Costa Maya ( only to 1:30 PM). Best stop was Ocean Cay.

🌴 Smoking in Casino. Smell of cigarette smoke was awful. Hopefully the casino in Seascape is non smoking.

🌴 Disembarkation very smooth. Butler escorted us to luggage pickup. Ship docked at 8 AM. Butler escorted us down and we picked up luggage and we’re off by 8:50.

We were on the same sailing but not YC.  I would like to add our own comments.

The itinerary was very boring.  Ocean Cay.  First day we went back to the ship for lunch and the second day we ate on the island the food was much improved from our last year Divina.

The ship ran out artificial sugar on the Market Place on Tuesday.

We tried to reserve the Butcher's cut once on board but all early sittings were already taken and had 7.15 on day 4.  Once arrived at the restaurant it was only half full with so many empty tables.  The food was not good at all.  I got lamb chops and my husband had beef tenderloin both were very tuff.

As a diamond member per MSC we should get a chocolate gift crafted on board but it never did come.  We asked about it per customer service desk it should arrive on the formal night.  After inquiry they brought us 5 pieces chocolate on Saturday afternoon.

Ice cream machines near the main pool broke down by the 3rd day and stay broken until the end of the cruise.

This past cruise was our second time with MSC and will cruise with them again but hope they will come up with more ports others than just Cozumel/Costa Maya/Ocean Cay and sometime Berlize or Nassau.
