We receive offers for a free cabin (me inside, husband balcony) with casino play.

we are considering an alaska cruise, would like to do a four or five day land tour first and then get on the ship and sail back to Vancouver.

my question:

Has anyone done one of these cruises/land packages using a casino offer and what did you have to pay out of pocket?

thank you

No one seems to have tried to book an Alaska cruise/land tour with casino offer, so I found a cruise on

Holland America - 28 days around trip out of Seattle that its 21 stops.

I went on the website Ocean Player Club which is Princess and Holland America casino company and asked if they would offer us a casino cabin for that cruise - never hurts to ask,  I will let you know how they respond

So - just from my experience. Princess<->Carnival<->HAL - offers don't cross cruise lines. My father in law had a free cruise from Carnival, tried to call them to see if he could get any discount on a Princess cruise and they said no - so he booked a Princess cruise and now has offers from both.

As far as cruisetours, the casino will not pay for the tour portion. You can do it, but you're responsible for that portion
