JuliaMS Posted December 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 15, 2022 We are booking an eastbound TA from Cape Liberty to Southhampton (Madeira Portugal, Spain, France). Royal Anthem OTS. I cannot use the balcony without shade.
TheOldBear Posted December 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 15, 2022 On an eastbound crossing, the starboard side of the ship generally faces south - so the port side would generally have more shade. 2
shipgeeks Posted December 19, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 19, 2022 Are you set on having a balcony? How about an OV?
Ex-Airbalancer Posted December 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted December 21, 2022 On the cruises to Amsterdam I find starboard gets morning sun, a port side gets afternoon sun also in April
skings Posted January 28, 2023 #5 Share Posted January 28, 2023 Hello, a question about Symphony of the Seas. Am booked in 14249 which is Central Park balcony, on the right side ( Starboard?) facing Central Park opening. This is a transatlantic from Barcelona to Fl Lauderdale, from reading this board looks like I should have some sun, hopefully?
