OBC

I have a 2 night booze cruise out of Sydney and have a pretty good OBC and it looks like because it’s a domestic cruise the casino will be closed.

I just want to run this past the gurus to cash it out.
From what I understand I have to set up a cash account and not give my credit card and go to guest service and get a cash advance.

Am I on the right track here?

*I think* If it is non-refundable OBC, guest services still won't give it to you. We tried to get it one time with the shareholder credit, and they said no. It was DH's credit, but they were able to transfer it to my account, so it covered my purchases in the shops. We just purchased a few more things. 

 

I don't know how cash advances work, though. So maybe that would be an option.
