Wind Star disembark Barbados

We are on Wind Star in March.  The arrival time for Barbados shows 8:00am.  Wondering if we actually will arrive earlier and that is when they start disembarking.  We can self disembark as will have  only carryon's. Would like to get off early as we have scheduled an excursion and need to drop luggage off at our hotel.  Anyone know what time the Wind Star usually arrives in Bridgetown?

I doubt you could disembark any earlier since they need to take care of immigration requirements prior to disembarkation. It is worth asking, however.

when we disembarked in Barbados, everyone was off early.  We put our bags out at 6am.  Ate breakfast early.  Many people were off very early. Since our flight was late afternoon, we opted to take WS excursion.  It was excellent including the fabulous lunch at an estate.  We arrived at the airport about 2pm.  A WS rep had our luggage.

Perfect,  That is what we were hoping for.

What itinerary were you on?  Any other ports that you have some good info on?

I've disembarked Windstar in Barbados a few times. It is no different than any other port. While you might be able to disembark a bit early (not hours), don't hold your breath. Port and navigational requirements, immigration, public health, customs, etc are uncontrollable. Don't make firm plans expecting anyone else to make special accommodations for you.
