Was it hard to get ?? Sold out on sea days ??

Nope, walk ins are available everyday.  We booked one afternoon on embarkation day and then the others as we felt like it.  You can come on in right now if you like.

Sazerac rye for me.  It appears all they have onboard is Jack Daniels Rye.

The last time I tried the Rye on Princess was on Royal last May. They didn't have JD Rye but had Jacob Rye from Mischief Distillery. (I took a picture or would have no idea what it was.) I was not impressed. I haven't tried Sazerac but have heard good things about it. I just looked for it locally online and it looks like at BevMo it is normally $47.99 but is currently on sale for $23.99. Sounds like the ideal time to give it a try.

I do try to get three miles on the treadmill every day.

On our December cruise I used a cane and usually had to sit down half way along the ship when going from one end to the other. Too much dang pain. Bah. I hate it.

Try having it made with just a touch of vermouth. Like put a tiny amount in the glass swish around and dump out.

Sounds like how I think a Martini should be made. Put ice in the shaker. Pour the Vermouth over the ice and then strain it out before adding Gin.

Thanks so much for all the info and food porn photos!

We're getting on in a couple of weeks and I have a Huatulco question if you don't mind...it looks like you can walk to the beach from the pier? Are there lounge chairs/umbrellas for rent? Should I bring water shoes for swimming there or is the bottom mostly sand?

This is my first crossing and your info has been really helpful, thanks!

I was at a dive bar on Marco Island years ago. Asked for a "very dry" martini. The bartender took the vermouth bottle and shot one back over his shoulder; "dry enough?" he asked! Just right!
