CruiserBruce Posted January 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2023 One of the most common pieces of advice on Cruise Critic...ask the crew. They know the best spots ashore. If you are from the United States, your cell phone will work just fine in San Juan...its part of the US.
9tee2Sea Posted January 4, 2023 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2023 Find a Starbucks ( they seem to be everywhere) and use the free wifi. I usually see crew members in a huddle outside a Starbucks using the free WIFI. Also, usually if you buy something in a restaurant ( a beverage or whatever), you get get the access code to the WIFI. I have never been to those ports, but that is how it has worked ion Europe and Latin America for me.
Philob Posted January 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 4, 2023 While at sea, she'll need to sign up for wi-fi using the ship's system. Note there's a big difference between using wi-fi and mobile data as one will cost $$ if used unknowingly. Please research the difference and plan accordingly.
