Cheaper to book steak house prior to saling?

 We are on the Miracle Sunday. (14 nights)

It says $42 to book now--will that go up once we board?

 

Does the MDR serve Lobster & filet on formal night? 

Assuming the lobster & filet are better quality in the steakhouse?

well usually if part of a package book ahead of time.

Otherwise wait until the day you board, go to the Steak house and check it out then decide.

 

I know one some ships crew will approach people with an offer for a good deal if the restaurant is not selling out.

Probably, yes, and yes, in that order.

 

The lobster tails in the MDR are tiny, more like langoustine size.  And as for the filet, the steakhouse will cook it the way you like, usually correctly.  The MDR is hit or miss on temperature, and can be anywhere from blue on the inside to pretty well done.

i see its listed as 48.  but when i book it its 42.00

Are there any recent reports of crew selling discounts on the steakhouse once onboard?  Where, when and how much of a discount, Please?  Spoiled by the specialty dining packages on RCL.
