FCO hotel for 1 night post-cruise?

I'm thinking of taking a 5-hour MSC transfer from Civitavecchia to FCO that includes a drive through Rome with a stop at St. Peter's.  I've stayed in Rome numerous times so I'm just looking at a fun, relaxing way to end the cruise before the long flight home.  So, thinking of flying out the next AM and looking for recommendations for airport hotel that has access to  a nice place for dinner and includes breakfast.  Any thoughts?  I'm hoping the bus driver will let us off at a hotel!

You can take a taxi from the hotel to close-by Fiumicino for dinner.  Lots of good restaurants there on the water and a pleasant town to stroll around. Your restaurant will call you a taxi to get back to the airport. It's a 8-10 minute drive.

We stayed in Fumicino prior to leaving and loved the area.  Right by the ocean with few people and great - reasonable restaurants.  It was about 10 min to airport.  And a nice change from the crazy of Rome.  We stayed at Hotel Riviera & the rooms were quite large with a nice breakfast.
