Yes, I believe they were used in both Murano and Tuscan Grill.

Believe it or not I picked one up at the Casino bar and brought to my cabin to have a glass of wine before dinner when I noticed the Reidel marking.

I will have to see if I can duplicate that in April.

Just of a note -- has anyone else noted that Riedel glasses are what they use in Luminae?

I would be surprised if they didn't use them in Luminae considering they are popping up all over the ships.

I never thought to pay attention anywhere other than Luminae but rest assured I will now.

You have done well.  We have broken quite a few, replaced them, and given up on them and used more durable stemware.

DH is not a wine drinker and he knows better than to put his hands on my Reidel glasses.  😆

If you have not done so, you might want to try their stemless wine glasses.  A lot of vinophiles will say nay nay to stemless, but if you can get past that part, no more worries about the fragile stemmed glasses.

In October on the Equinox we were served wine in Riedel glasses in Blu. My son was the one who noticed. I was surprised!

Reidel sells many varieties of wine glasses at different price points some very affordable.  I recently bought a couple rather expensive ones that were marked down as two were missing from  box.

Oh no!  Someone gave me a set of 2 which I gave away with a bottle of wine.

I love my glasses......but yes, they are very delicate and must be hand washed

I believe they need to be washed in a dishwasher to avoid breakage because dishwashers are a lot more gentle

Yes they were used in Luminae but not the higher end lines. I didn’t mind at all as they are more durable and nice enough.

I'm fine with the lower end Reidel although at home I have Vinum Vinum extreme and the Grape variety. Also a beautiful Reidel decanter which I rarely use.

We took the class in December 2021, on the Constellation.

We were disappointed that we were not given glasses to take away with us, but it was explained that many folk have had them break on their journey home - wouldn't have been an issue to us since we drove to the port.

We received the voucher for free glasses (4 glasses each), but had to pay for shipping.

Lovely glasses, but I'm not sure they were worth the shipping fee.

At least you were able to redeem the certificate. It kept telling me "invalid credit card" every time I tried to pay - no matter what card I used.

Celebrity now uses Riedel glassware in all the dining rooms.

I'm not surprised the lower end are actually very affordable. I also like the Spieglau wine glasses saw some in a store yesterday. Beautiful shape.

We have Riedel wine glasses (having been hooked on them by one of these workshops on an early cruise) and we've always washed them in the dishwasher, with no issues.

Yes I got hooked on them the same way so took the workshop just for the glasses. This was 10 years ago and I would have had to pay $150 for the tasting set outside of the class.

Sometimes you can find one in the sommelier series at discounted prices.  I saw one glass in a box a few days ago marked down to $90.  No thanks.
