tokidoki Posted January 9, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Hi everyone! I am sailing this summer on Oasis and have the points from my RC credit card and I am hoping to gamble with most of it. Anyone know if I can use it on the slot machines and if I have money left, can I cash it out as well? Thx!
LeeW Posted January 9, 2023 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Onboard credit is onboard credit. On slot machines you just do a room charge and it adds that amount to your stateroom bill. OBC reduces that bill. Note that nothing will prevent you from spending more than the OBC you have from the credit card.
tokidoki Posted January 9, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Just want to use OBC to gamble, not to credit any purchases to room. I never have a bill, and I always go home with some cash from the OBC I use to play slots.
Rare HappyTexan44 Posted January 9, 2023 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2023 Couldn't you cash out every time you leave the casino?

At any time, you can transfer your OBC (regardless of the type) to a slot machine, play as much as you want and cash out the remainder.

Yes, Holland America is one of those cruise lines, you can not use your OBC in the casino or for gratuities. But it is fine to use your OBC in the casino on Royal. If you have $100 non ref obc and you spend $100 on drinks and $100 in casino, you will owe $100 at the end. Non ref = same.
