Princess excursion question

We are taking a Princess excursion in Belize which is a tender port.   How do they do this?   Do they have your group meet somewhere on the ship and then go to the tender together?     Are the excursion groups given "priority" on the tenders?    I can't imagine how it would work if you had to get off yourself and meet someplace on shore.   That just doesn't make sense.

You will get info on the ship about where to meet

Yes you usually meet on the ship but it wouldn't be hard to find the tour if you happened to be on a tender without the tour group

They would have signs on the pier and you would easily be able to find your group

This is my first Princess cruise, but on other lines, they have you meet in somewhere like the theater nd call your group for the tender at the same time. That way you're all together and waiting in (relative) comfort!
