Thank you for posting information about the ship and cruise.

Who is the Cruise Director?

Also wondering about trivia - what times and what venue?

All of the Trivia and other events are on the Navigator now.

I  can't spell the CDs name but she is Dutch and I have not had her before.  Also, not very visible around the ship.  Only saw her introducing the shows unlike Erin on the NA who was always out and about engaging with guests.

You can see the trivia listed on the daily programs I have been posting

We were in Martinque today.  There was a protest going on in the city, loud but peaceful.  In talking to some locals it is being done across all of France as the French government wants to raise the pension age to 65.  Tonight was a special Dutch menu in the Lido and also the Orange party in BB King

Here is the daily program for Friday Jan 20.

@iflyrc5 There still seems to be confusing facts on Sea View Pool. One sign says children under 16 require adult supervision.

The other sign says all guess 18 years and older are welcome to use the pool family with kids are invited to join facilities at Lido midship pool instead. One of the Lido managers told us as long as there is an adult in the pool with the kid they don't say anything. So far no Screamers.

Hmm, does someone have access to make a new sign that we can place over this one for our upcoming cruise?  🤣😁

My sister and I love playing cards.  She of course being retired plays almost daily.   I have already packed a deck of a game called Skyjo.

What is the temp, and approximately where at Sea is Ms Rotterdam today?

We are in Barbados.  Gentle breeze, some clouds, warm.
commercial port so it appears many passengers stayed on board just from my observation.

did not see any children in mid ship pool yet today although have in the past week.  Two children running around deck  of pool and splashing with no apparent guidance from parents.  The location of smoking section near adult pool is not ideal, imo.

The left side of the pool

(where you are) is usually the smoking area..I always try not to sit in that area.

We were not on the left side (where the bar is) We were all the way on the other side by the couches.

I just took a picture of the smokers.

Thanks again.  It’s a shame that the smoking area is at the adult pool.

It should be in a corner on a top, rarely used spot on the ship.

Enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Agree.  On Pinnacle class ships, there's the Sun Bar on Deck 11.  That's the perfect spot.

Yes the signs are confusing as the permanent sign states 16 by the sign on the portable stand says 18.  The Sea View bar is on the starboard side of the ship which is also the smoking side.  We were out at this pool area on the port side  in the shade and yes the wind was such that you could smell the smoke all over the Sea View Pool area.  Once we left port and wind changed directions and the smell was gone.

I noticed that the pools and whirlpools close at 9 pm. Do they put nets over them? Is the time enforced? We love to go in the hot tubs around 10 pm.

No, they will be netted at 9:00pm.
