Friends have better offers and cabin question

Yes-we've done this with our teenagers. You can either just get another key and have 2-1 for door lock and other for charges or you can ask them to switch the names completely. We did have issues with one of our keys not working the entire trip (gave up after 6 attempts at new keys) when they supposedly switched the name completely. Our room steward didn't think that had anything to do with it but who knows. Next time I'm just going the additional key route.
