Earliest Flight from Frankfurt

Does Avalon supply a transfer to the airport?  I've had flights as early as 6:40 am and the cruise line got me to the airport almost 3 hrs. ahead of time.  I'd contact Avalon first.

Allow at least 30 mins from the ship to the airport to start your calculations.  Use Avalon’s transfer service because taxis in Frankfurt don’t have a clue where to go.  (4 out of 4 of our taxis got lost  and we watched another driving around in confusion looking for the ship to pick up passengers at disembarkation.)

You don’t mention whether Frankfurt is an overnight at the end of your trip or whether you’re arriving and immediately disembarking.  Timing is more reliable if it’s an overnight.  Their dock assignments are pretty fluid and last minute.  We received our embarkation point 3 days prior to sailing but on embarkation day it was changed to another location.

Guest Services will figure out the logistics and let you know what time your transfer will be because they have other passengers to coordinate.  In our case we all met in the lobby at 5:30am.  Because it was so early they provided us with breakfast-to-go.  Another couple made independent arrangements but joined our transfer at the last minute because their taxi couldn’t find the ship.  Go figure.

We will be in Frankfurt the day prior.  I went ahead and booked the 8:35 AM flight that has only one stop, and that’s in the US.

When I took their tulip cruise, Avalon had us up and out the door by 5AM to AMS, so I am hoping they will do the same for Frankfurt.
