Silver Spirit - Deck 5 verandas

New to Silversea.  
 

I’m looking at an exterior shot of the Spirit.  It looks like the Deck 5 suites might have a slightly disadvantaged view from the veranda due to the ship’s structure.   Is that correct?
 

If so, we might consider a suite on a higher deck.

I have had a suite on 5 and I was not aware of any obstructions while on the balcony. I did not spend a whole lot of time on it but was able to sun and take pictures of the sea and ports. Of course, the higher one is the wider and further the view.

I have stayed in the suites on deck 5 on the Spirit. The verandah view was not “disadvantaged”. The verandahs were the same size as other verandah suites, with the exception of the higher priced larger suites like the silvers, owners, royal etc.

I like deck 5 because it is close to the water and the midship suites are more stable in rough weather.

We too were on this deck in the Autumn and I did not really notice a difference to a previous cabin on  deck  7 earlier in the year

That is incorrect.  There is no disadvantaged view.
