How to verify RCL cruise canceled?

We had to cancel our RCL cruise due to a medical problem. Our travel agent says she handled this, but the web site still shows it is an upcoming cruise. I called RCL, and was told that the cruise has NOT been canceled. I was told that only the travel agent can cancel the cruise.
 

I do not know what to do. I am concerned that we will not be able to successfully submit a travel insurance claim unless the cruise is canceled before departure. 
 

Any suggestions?  I am beyond frustrated.

You need to bug your TA as they control the booking.  Get confirmation from them.

You will certainly need the cancelled invoice to show what Royal Caribbean have refunded and what you are claiming. Your Travel Agent should have provided you with a copy of this information.
