The shuttle from the Hilton Marina to the cruise terminal cost $6 four weeks ago.  It runs every 30 minutes according to the driver.

We stayed at the Rodeway 12 years ago and it was a dump, unless it has been renovated, I would never stay there again to save $12 on a shuttle.

Commenting on a place you stay at 12 years ago is not helpful

I said unless it has been "renovated" which knowing Rodeway Inns is doubtful, it would still be a dump.

I have much more recent experience, from last month, and it's still a dump.  Read Trip Advisor reviews and especially the manager's response to anything the least bit critical.  Needless to say, even though we saved a few bucks, it was not a great start to our cruise.

Did not experience the "bad area" at all.  Took a pre-cruise run, seemed fine.  Hotel was clean, typical Hilton quickie breakfast---just a little hard for the Lyft driver to find because of construction (not sure if it's still an issue).
