Anyone back from Hawaii? I would like to know how it was? What kind of weather did you have? Was it rough?

we just returned last night....the ship is beautiful, staff wonderful...weather dreadful! cold, rainy, overcast....had very little sun the entire trip...and yes, the waters were rough... neither sunscreen nor bathing suits were needed...I do hope you have better weather...

Took the Amsterdam to Hawaii this February, and it was cold, windy and cloudy the entire way there and back. Very disappointing. Way too cold to sit by the outdoor pool, which made the trip over and back VERY looong. Also very big waves; there were several days quite a few people were ill. Lounge chairs next to the indoor pool were very hard to get, as no one was willing to brave the temperature outside. Some days it was so wavy that the water sloshed out of the pool and drenched everyone surrounding it. The weather at the islands was great, though.
