WS is delightful for people who don’t need lots of entertainment.  No glitz.  Great food, attentive service, and no crowds.  It is relaxing.

We just returned from the 2/11 sailing of Star Pride. Overall we loved it. The ship and staterooms are were well maintained and comfortable . We stayed in a Star Oceanview (new section) and were impressed with the size and decor of our stateroom. 

 

The food was excellent in all venues and the service mirrored the food. Andreas the hotel manager is everywhere and listens. Emilian , the beverage manager went above and beyond to fulfill our requests.

 

It was our first time with Windstar and we hope to sail with them again.

We were also on the 2/11 sailing of the Star Pride.  I agree with everything mluzzy1 said.  The entire crew - wait staff, bartenders, room attendant, the tender crew and all others were wonderful.  Just be aware that the shore excursions typically leave early between 8-9 am. That was one thing we weren't aware of and didn't think to ask.
