Desperate help with hump cabins on Silhouette?!

Cabin # - 7286

The cabin was very quiet. You could not hear any noise from the elevator area - which is very close.

Balcony View - Excellent view - looking down you see the "chase" boat (not a tender) and a portion where the waves splash.

Balcony Size - huge balcony - largest of the angle cabins.

No wind as it is angled towards aft.

@aimcat   I realize you're probably not as desperate now as when you posted on Friday 😉, but just wanted to show this Cruisedeckplans popup that shows the 9296 (from your list in the OP) that might help you visualize the differences:

I guess I am a visual person.  This pic really shows what HappyCruiser said about the first and third verandahs being so much larger than the second and fourth ones.

Then there is the bed by the balcony, bed by the bath situation.   We like bed by the balcony and being on starboard side.   For these reasons we always take the first one off the hump on the starboard side facing aft.

The easy way to tell bed by the bath is the square on the deck plan indicating a sofa bed, those are bed by the bath.

I have a different take on the deeper angled cabins.

1. although deeper they bring more shade into the cabin as they are long and partially covered

2. if too much out on the angle you can see one way but not the other  ie you dont have a clear view both visually left and right

3.  Other indented balcony cabins along the whole length of ship have a good view of your balcony so its not private

You might also want to consider the configuration of inside layout.  If it assigned 3 or 4 berth its sofa to balcony.  If its assigned 2 berth only then bed will be near balcony

That's not necessarily correct.  It is true if the cabin is for more than 2 people, the bed will be by the bath.  There are a slew of staterooms together that only hold 2 people such as AQ cabins, but they all alternate from bed by bath to bed by balcony.  You just have to find a stateroom with a square or triangle (bed by bath) and count up or down to find the configuration of your stateroom.
