QueenofEverything Posted February 3, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2023 Are the pools on the Rotterdam heated? I have searched, but can't seem to find the answer. TIA
CruiserBruce Posted February 3, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2023 Yes. By Mother Nature or the ship, depending on where the ship is. The question is, if the ship is heating the water, will it be warm enough...an individual decision.
Rare FlaMariner Posted February 3, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2023 Also, the Rotterdam has a retractable roof so that it can be closed in cold/inclement weather and the swimming can continue.....again, an individual decision.
iflyrc5 Posted February 4, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2023 I talked to the chief engineer on one of the HAL ships several years ago and yes all HAL ships are fresh water and heated - maybe not as hot or cold to your liking but they are heated. lobsternight Posted February 4, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 4, 2023 Good question. We are new to HAL and was wondering. Hate to say it but have not been in the pool for about the last 7 or 8 cruises but hoping to on our Alaska in April. Remember once on a NCL carribean that the pool was so hot I could barely get my feet in.
