Thanks Pam! And like any OC member of cruise critic, the first thing I did after waking up at 6:30 was to log on to the board. Man it must be nice living so close to the port! I have to fly out a day or two in advance. I guess that's not so bad though, extends the vacation time a bit but can be hard on the pocketbook!

Yep, just a 30 minute drive. If I had my way, we would already be on the road so I could be first in line. [img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] But, Barry, prefers to leave last minute. I did get him to agree that we would leave by 9 am. Kathy, I sure hope you are not reading this now!! It is 8 minutes before 9!!!! Get going!!! Pammyhound, we also have to fly out early before our cruise out of Miami(Jan.23/05 Valor). I would hate to miss it due to bad weather at an airport,so I am making sure when we get our flights that we are going Seattle to somewhere warmish to change planes(ex: Dallas-FWicon_wink.gif not Chicago etc. Good morning to you all!!

Yes, I am doing my gradual cut-down(not a total stopping!) my time on the board icon_frown.gif-It has only been about 1 hr.(I am going to work later today and will not be on, unless I go to the TV/computer lounge at work at suppertime!!)

I just can't imagine not flying out the day before the cruise. I would be so scared that even in good weather I'd have major flight delay and miss the plane. I know, I know...another good reason for trip insurance.

Hi pammyhound, I am sorry I meant to say we are flying out the day before(I guess early did not describe it properly). Yes, I am hyperconcerned re: missing the cruise.That will give me one good nights sleep (if I am not too excited), so I can enjoy the first day on the ship well-rested!! I really must get off here now!! Yeah, maybe one day I will make my fingers sore from typing-that might cure me.!!! Have a good day Pammyhound!!

Hi Pammyhound and everyone, I have been pretty good for Monday and Tuesday(oh yeah, today is still Tues!) as I was at work. We will see if my cut-back on msg. board time works. Oh yes, I see there is a new group addicted to the boards;"Hello to all the sickos". icon_smile.gif I think it is mostly women addicted to the boards it seems. I wonder why that is? Are we all just "hyper" about planning?? Maybe it's a control issue.(No, not bladder control icon_smile.gif) Oh well-it could be a worse addiction!!!!!!. Talk to all of you later.

Hi Pammyhound, Yes,I see that there is definately at least one man who has claimed he is a "sicko".(not many have admitted it though!!) We need a new name for us "addicts"/"sickos". I think we should think of a catchy-sounding name. icon_cool.gif We need our own heading under Carnival- with Carnival being the busiest section of the boards here. Well, it is 9:25 am(PST) and I must get ready to go to Costco for 10. Bye for now. Take care.

Since I will not be on your cruise with the Hounds in Sept., there might have to be another name for the rest of us!! icon_smile.gif Ooops!!I am on the boards again!! mayrashke, the Hounds are just a bunch of fun loving addicted cruisers who enjoy cruising with other fun-loving, addited cruisers. We all met right here on Cruise Critic on the Carnival Board. We sailed the Glory first and were the Glory Hounds, now we're sailing RCI so we're the Royal Hounds. Anybody can be a Hound!!
