Those hanging pouches in/around the cabin doors are used for gift exchanges, kind of like "secret santa".

Thanks! Now we know “the rest of the story”. 😂

Did our walk around Castaway Cay. There is definitely plenty of places to hang out at the beach, go for a bike ride, or have fun going on a water slide at Pelican Point!

Awesome Review!

Reading along with your adventures is bringing me back on our Wish cruise back in Dec...sigh......

Curious to hear your thoughts on best restaurant out of the 3...hard decision since they are so different....but think you might have a fav?

We had lunch up in the buffet and everything was served to you by the crew. There were no self-serve stations, other than for drinks, that I could see. That is definitely not the case now on many of the other cruise lines we sail with.

After our tasty lunch, we had some time to do a little exploring before the movie. First my DW wanted to show me the hard to find Star Wars lounge her and our DD found earlier on the ship.

Then we headed over to the Hero Zone, which was unusually quiet since most everyone was still off the ship, and had fun trying all of the various games.

So far we have eaten at Arendelle on the first evening and 1923 last night. Tonight we’re at 1923 again (Pirates Night) and finish with Worlds of Marvel tomorrow night. The show was nice at Arendelle, but we were in the far corner of the large MDR and really didn’t get to enjoy the show as much as possibly others did that were seated closer to the stage. However, I will say I definitely enjoyed the fillet mignon at 1923 last night!

We also like that the same two servers go with us each night if we move to a different MDR. That’s definitely unique to Disney.

This evening after our second tasty dinner in 1923, we headed up to Deck 12 to watch the Mickey and Minnie Pirate Show at 7:45 pm.

Then we headed back to the cabin to rest a bit before heading back up to watch the 10:15 pm fireworks show. When we got there, we found another towel art design that looked like a pirate!

But we also found this tip breakdown letter with envelopes in case we want to give some folks extra. On the other cruise lines we sail wit, Princess, Celebrity and NCL, there has always been the question of exactly who gets what. Not with Disney. They show just exactly how the $14.50 pp/day charge is distributed. BTW that daily charge is also the cheapest of any cruise line we sail with.

If you’re interested, the first two entries are for our waiter and her assistant. The third entry is for the Head Server (who supervises multiple servers to include ours). The last entry is our cabin steward.

Also, for those interested the passenger count on this 4-day cruise is approximately 3,600 with 1,500 crew members.

We headed back out around 9:45 pm to try to get a good spot to watch the Pirates Rockin’ Parlay Party and fireworks show. For those that don’t know, they shoot the fireworks off the starboard side of the ship.

Luckily as the placed was packed, we found a great spot on Deck 13 in the Adults Only section next to the AquaMouse entrance.

And then Captain Jack Sparrow made his entrance and the show kicked into high gear!

Since today is our one and only sea day, we decided to do some more exploring after eating breakfast in the 1923 MDR. When we were looking at the floor plan on the App we saw this intriguing area on the bow. But we couldn’t figure out how to get to it.

So off we went in search of the entrance and here is what we found.

Same spot, looking towards the aft.

I’m king of the world! 😂

But in our search we also found an area viewable from the bow that caught our attention. Is it part of the Senses Spa, or is it a private area for suite guests, or both?

We also noticed the lack of people on this part of the ship. Quite the contrast to what was going on inside. Who knew such a place even existed on the Wish! 😂

The entrance to this portion of the “bow” promenade is just before you enter the Senses Spa area. Once outside you will then need to climb a set of stairs from Deck 5 to Deck 6. But it’s definitely worth the the effort if you are so inclined. 😁

We had dinner tonight in the Marvel MDR and it was tasty. But of the three MDRs we ate at, I have to say we enjoyed our first dinner at the Arendelle MDR our first night, mostly because of the live performance that was provided.

But our adventure is sadly coming to an end. Overall, we’ve had quite the adventure these past 20 days, with 11 days cruising around the Caribbean on the NCL Dawn, 5 days at Disney World, and then another short 4 day Caribbean cruise on the Disney Wish. Each portion of our B3B definitely had its unique qualities.

However, we’ve definitely gotten a workout these past 3 weeks and ready to head home tomorrow and relax for a couple of months before going on our next cruise in April on the Celebrity Eclipse. That cruise will be a 33-day transpacific B3B from Sydney to Hawaii and then on to Vancouver.

Thanks for following along! 😁

Now it’s time for the final leg of our adventure, our 9 hour drive back home!

Stay safe everyone and we’ll hopefully see you on our next Live From in the Pacific in April. Who knows, we may even see the Green Flash on that cruise! 😂
