Singles Dining on Regent

On our last cruise on the Splendor we saw that there was a dedicated singles dining table hosted by staff every night. We saw them dining in all of the specialty restaurants as well as Compass Rose. Is this the norm on all Regent ships? It looked like they were all having a great time.

Although we are a couple, we have seen the group of singles eating together on all of Regent's ships.

They usually gather in one of the lounges for drinks before dinner with the social host/hostess and then go to dinner together. Check Passages to see where Social Travelers meet. I'm sure couples are welcome too!

In 2019 this was normal and the Social Hostess would often check to see if there were any openings for Prime Seven or for Setti Maria, this was on the Navigator.  We also always had an entertainer or staff person join us.  This past Summer due to Covid the passengers were not able to eat with the crew.  I believe that this has now returned to normal.  We had several couples join with us.

Not quite normal as of December. "Non-licensed" staff (CD, ACD, GM, etc.) could eat in any dining venue with Passengers. Production cast and speakers couldn't be invited to dine in restaurants that needed reservations. No dining with Captain, Staff Captain or Medical Staff.
