ocean cruise terminal

Hi is it possible to walk from the holiday inn southampton to ocean cruise terminal to pick up the Arvia? Any other time we have walked from our hotel to get on the ship as we enjoy the walk but we have never emabarked at the ocean cruise terminal.

It is but an Uber only cost me £6.50 for 2 people 2 large suitcases and 2 cabin bags so less than a small glass of wine on board.

Quite a distance if you have to lug cases or if weather is bad. I always have cruise package with taxi included.

Less than a mile and depending on ability and what luggage you are carrying would take less than 30 mins.

I am not suggesting it is something I would do just giving the Op information as requested.

I have done it many times from the Holiday Inn, also done the Mayflower terminal which is a bit more of a hike

We like walking, but not with two, or possibly three suitcases, plus hand luggage each !

In the rain on uneven pavements, and with several road junctions, not my ideal start to a holiday either.

It says its a 17 minute walk on google maps so as long as its not raining we will be walking x

17 minutes if you are Usain Bolt! City terminal is closest, almost next to Holiday Inn. Walked it to Celebrity Eclipse once. Took me about 17 minutes pulling my suitcases!
