BCOS Posted February 11, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 11, 2023 (edited) We will be porting in Skagway in early May and the excursion I'm considering offers two departure times: 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.. Given the time of year, is there apt to be a temperature advantage to the 2:00 slot? Edited February 11, 2023 by BCOS
CruiserBruce Posted February 11, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 11, 2023 As discussed here frequently, the weather in Alaska is quite variable. It might be warmer at 2pm, or it might not.
Rare Coral Posted February 11, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 11, 2023 I think it could be warmer at 2 pm. I often dress in layers in May and take some of them off as the day goes on.
