Does anyone know why Cruise Dig lists Riviera as carrying 1447 (not ~1250) passengers on her March 2-12 cruise?

Maybe 1447 if every cabin that had a sofa bed was occupied?

I’ve seen everything from 1238 (629 cabins x 2) to the1447 number.

 

Don’t guess it really matters … unless they all try to get between me and the bar.

Max capacity is greater than double occupancy.

Typically those port numbers include passengers and staff. So it sounds that with 750-780 staff you have only 700 passengers.

I don't think so since every category but one is wait listed. Seems like it will be a full sailing.

You are looking at a third party site - those figures look like they are pulled from the above site and it just lists max occupancy. No relation to the number on the actual cruise when you get on it 🙂

Yeah, I am questioning ship capacity not current bookings … although we seem to have very few open cabins left.
