Travel Insurance

We booked a transatlantic cruise for October of 2022 on Celebrity.  I developed a medical problem and we had to cancel the cruise.  We had the travel insurance with AON insurance.  We filed a claim on October 7th and called them at least twice a week to check on our claim. We were told that the doctor needed to provide additional information and they would request the information.  They told us they would send the request to the doctor within three business days. We were told that same information by 12 different people and nothing happened.  Finally in December, we contacted the State of Wisconsin, Insurance Division.  They filed a claim on our behalf and they told them they had 30 days to respond.  We finally got our money last week.

We feel if we hadn’t got the state involved, we would still be waiting.  They kept telling us they would send the information but never followed through.  We will not get travel insurance EVER through the cruise line.  AON is an awful insurance company that doesn’t help the customers at all.  How can they do this to someone who has a medical problem.
