wowzz Posted February 19, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2023 I know that this is an old article, but the implications are now being felt. P&O for one, is changing 2023 itineraries as the new ruling comes into force. Worth double checking that your cruise will still be visiting Palma prior to booking excursions. https://crew-center.com/palma-de-mallorca-limit-cruise-ship-arrivals-2026#:~:text=May 5 was a historical, ship with over 5%2C000 passengers.

Rare Hlitner Posted February 20, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2023 Just one more example of the world reacting to mega ships. We (and others) have written a lot about this in other blogs regarding ports like Venice, Key West, Bar Harbor Santorini, Bora Bora, etc. More and more ports are realizing that too many (or any) large cruise ships are not really good for business.
