RC Terminal Galveston Walkable from The Strand?

We are planning on staying in (or very near) The Strand for a few nights before our cruise. Is the RC terminal walkable from there or do we need to arrange for a cab? Thanks!

Only two hotels by Strand . Harbor House on 21st  and Tremont on 23rd . Royal terminal at 10th . See if they have transfers .

Walkable, but would not recommend as Haborside is a main thoroughfare for the port and Bolivar ferry.  No sidewalks and lots of trucks.

There is an inside road under construction that will connect 19th St by Katie's to Pier 10, but is is not completed.

Royal has a new terminal which is over a mile from the other terminals.  This terminal opened in Nov 2022.  The Tremont only offers a shuttle if you use their cruise parking service.  Not sure about Harbor House.  IOW, plan on a cab/uber/lyft.

To my knowledge they are not. However, we don’t use TNC’s as neighbors take and pick up.

We walked it after our cruise in January.  It is a rough walk especially with suitcases.  We did not think it would be that bad but there are some sidewalks and some without.  The part without sidewalks, we walked on the road with our luggage - not very safe.  I would not do it again.  I wished I would have asked this question before we did it.  I googled mapped it and it was less than a mile so thought it was okay.  If you don't have luggage, then it's a piece of cake but with luggage - ugh!
