Cairo: where to buy gold AND have a custom Cartouche made?

Hello!  Will be in Cairo and looking for a reputable place to have a gold Cartouche made with my name.  I know they have a huge bazaar there with lots of vendors - anyone have any recommendations where I won’t get over-charged?

Not sure if it's what you want but we ordered a cartouche online from an Egyptian manufacturer, recommended by someone on a Viking river cruise, on Etsy.

If you are taking a tour from the ship in Egypt, rest assured they will stop at a place where you can order them. If on a private tour, ask them to take you to a reputable place. (In fact, they'll be overjoyed as they will certainly get a kickback...)

 

I wouldn't buy in the Kahn el-Khalili (bazaar) unless you know how to bargain well and understand what you'll be getting for your money...
