rsail203 Posted February 23, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 23, 2023 In the past when this cruise was cancelled, a $200 penalty was charged and $700 was able to be used for a future cruise. Is this still the same rule now?
Rare Ken the cruiser Posted February 23, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 23, 2023 When I just did a "nonrefundable deposit" mock booking online, here's what's listed at the bottom of the Cost Summary page. *Price is per person and applies to selected sailing, lowest available fare stateroom category, based on double-occupancy, reflects any promotional savings, and is subject to change and availability until booked. Additional terms and conditions apply to offers. Non-refundable deposit: Non-refundable deposit (“NRD”) cancelled prior to final payment due date will receive a future cruise credit in the amount of the deposit minus a 100 USD per person service fee. FCC is non-transferable and expires after 12-months from issue date. 100 USD per person service fee applies to changes to NRD ship or sail date.
rsail203 Posted February 23, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted February 23, 2023 Thank you Ken. I thought that was the rule, but I just wanted to make sure nothing has changed.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted February 23, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2023 Yes. I cancelled one recently and was charged a $100 pp fee and the remainder was a FCC which took 4-5 weeks to be issued. Once issued I just went to another reservation and applied it reducing the amount due at final payment. 1
