Club Royale and Annual Cruise Voucher

Recommended Posts

It seems like everyone and their brother has Club Royale Prime status or above.  Is there any estimate anywhere of the number of people that have this status?  This is my first year earning Prime and I'm anxious to receive the April interior cruise offer.  I'm hoping to use that offer on a June cruise, so very short time frame and limited rooms left available.  I wonder how many people will be trying to book offers all at the same time and how likely it is to get what I'm hoping for.  Any thoughts/advice for someone new to this?

Will depend on ship/itinerary.  But yea, I would prepare for limited selection.  Cruises are booking full and June is a hotbed of family vacations.  Will come down to how many cabins the Casino Rate "held" versus looking in the general pool.  It would certainly be wise to have a plan in place, have all your passengers on the same page and ready to book once you see ship/cabin choices - as soon as you see your offer appear.

I've never had difficulty booking any sailing I've chosen, using Prime status offers, but maybe I've just been lucky.

But you probably know it resets as of April 1st to zero--so whatever your point status is as of 3/31 will be what benefits you are entitled to for the next 12 month period starting April 1st. At least ours does.  I'm no expert on the program, and in fact was pretty surprised when I leveled up to Prime last year, because I only play table games and I've never been able to figure out the points system 🤷‍♀️

Someone please correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe you can use your certificate on a cruise that has passed final payment date and therefore you would not be able to use it for a June sailing.

I have heard others being able to book a trip and then apply the certificate later once earned, but again not sure that works on a cruise already passed final payment.

If you book a June cruise in May, the date in May that you book becomes the final payment date so it can be used.

When does the annual free cruise show up in your account.  All I'm getting so far is many $100 off offers. No trade in value or anything other than the $100 off.

Usually by the second week of April.....some times a week or so later.

We'll be using our two certificates for a Wonder cruise we have booked for October.
