Medallion for Under 18 cruisers?

Yes, on our last cruise in November, our 10 y/o received a gold medallion, and he received a Ruby medallion for our upcoming cruise.  However, our two year old was too young to get a medallion at all per Princess rules.  He was actually quite upset, he wanted one like his older brother.

How hard would it be for Princess to give him a fake or inactive medallion just to make a 2 year old happy.  That would have been good customer relations.

Just ask...

I was Ruby last December and the father of a 2yo asked for a old medallion from crew member at the Ocean Front desk.  The crew pulled out a box of old medallions and gave him one with a lanyard.

I saw the parent later on the cruise and he said his 2yo was very happy with his medallion.   Problem solved.

Honestly they never offered and we never thought to ask.

Supports what Don said, we should have asked. 😞

Probably because Princess doesn't want to be sued for giving something that's a choking hazard to a 2 year old.

Our little guy is good about not putting everything in his mouth, but that is a very good point and a valid concern.  Probably better not to take the risk, especially not on a shipwide scale.
