EatonDoolittle Posted March 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2023 We all know that this is simply a veranda cabin by another name. Kudos to the marketing department. My question is, does this cabin qualify for the suite bonus of an extra Mariner point per night? TIA

Rare 3rdGenCunarder Posted March 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2023 I think that's why they call them vista suites. You pay more than the typical veranda price, so this is supposed to make up for it a little.

On the 2 remaining R class ships (Volendam and Zaandam) there are no standard verandah cabins, only the Vista suites and suites above have a balcony. We are booked in one on the Volendam next year. The Lanai cabins have a door that opens to the promenade deck, but it is not a balcony. Edited March 14, 2023 by terrydtx
