We are a group in mid 60 to mid 70. All mobile.

is Park Guell and Montserrat too difficult for our age group.  ?

If you are true to your description, you won't have any issues.  We did Park Guell and Montserrat on a small group tour by Barcelona Day Tours.

It was a decent amount of walking, but nothing extreme.  Stairs to climb.  But we are in early 70's and moderately, not great, fit.  We had no problem.   I would estimate that we walked maybe 4 miles total for the day. . .  But we had some time on our own at Montserrat and walked everywhere there - up, down, around, and more!

If people are somewhat immobile however, they will indeed have an issue.

it was a wonderful day!

For Park Guell have the taxi or Uber drop you off at the top of the hill. Then you can walk downhill thru the park. If you take the subway get off at Vallcarca stop. You will need to go uphill to the park but part of the trek up is via escalators. If you get off at Lesseps stop you’ll get to the main entrance and you will walk uphill in the Park.
