Oak Hill Cruisers Posted March 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) Need to know if the shower heads in non-suite staterooms are fixed or removable. We have some handicapped issues to deal with and being able to stand outside the shower and wet down & rinse off DW would make it easier to decide to stick with our booked cruise or cancel. No more handicapped accessible staterooms remain available. Thanks in advance for your comments & suggestions. oakridger Posted March 17, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2023 (edited) From Halfacts.com Ocean View Cabin # 1094. Kindly contributed by Cruise Critic member ‘Andi Land’. Photos taken in December 2019. It's a detachable and adjustable wand type. (Sorry the picture is so big!) sandiego1 Posted March 17, 2023 #6 Share Posted March 17, 2023 I recommend getting a J or K on deck 1. There is a shower only with a wand, no bathtub. It might be easier for your wife than her trying to step over the edge of a bathtub

However, if you have a cabin on an upper deck with a shower-only, then be assured that the shower has a removable showerhead. The pole that it is attached to allows it to be slid up/down to make it more convenient to use. I believe the cabins with a tub have the same showerhead setup. You can ask for a shower seat, too.
