Rare TiogaCruiser Posted March 17, 2023 #1 Share Posted March 17, 2023 We’re going to be in Oranjstaad in April and our tours end at noon. Does anyone have suggestions for what to do in the afternoon for about 3 hours? We like nature and history. Not interested in shopping or bars. Is there a good restaurant with local fare nearby? Traveling Library Posted March 17, 2023 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2023 I’m not sure it is open but the Fort Zoutman history museum is small but interesting local history.
Den7Cruiser Posted March 27, 2023 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2023 We did Trikes Aruba a few years ago and had so much fun!
nzdisneymom Posted March 29, 2023 #4 Share Posted March 29, 2023 We haven't been yet but will have a similar situation with time to fill in the afternoon. I have to eat gluten-free so was asking on other sites about suggestions and got several recommendations for the Dutch Pancake House that is just by the cruise terminal at the Renaissance Mall. They said it was really good for anyone, so we expect to try it.

Rare BoozinCroozin Posted April 5, 2023 #6 Share Posted April 5, 2023 For 3 hours, I am guessing you are in port for 8 hours. You can walk around the port area neighborhoods and see the sites. Just ask a local at a shop for a good restaurant.
