London Hotel Recommendations Please

So ending a future cruise in Southampton. Going to spend a few nights in London after. Have been to London but it’s been many years. Looking for a hotel that’s centrally located to a lot. Not looking for a “budget” hotel but don’t need a Four Seasons either but prefer a hotel with nicer amenities, a nice hotel lobby and bar etc.

Conrad St James. Nice hotel, great location.

Montegue on the Gardens (part of Red Carnation Hotels).  Across the street from the British Museum. Excellent service, comfy beds and a lovely bar.
