Top on. Check.

Bottoms on.  Check

Shoes on.  Check

You're good to go. 👍

Wow that’s good to hear. I won’t be dressing as a slob, but long pants, shirt with possible tie is just right for me. Thank you all for the peace of mind.

Wear what you want, it's your vacation!  Those who complain about what others wear to dinner and have their vacation ruined by my shorts will just find something else to complain about. If they cannot find something they will invent something, it is just what they do! Wear your shorts, be comfortable, enjoy YOUR trip YOUR way! Dressed up or not!

My comment was sarcasm. 😏

But the dress code isn't based on what anyone finds "sexy," it's based on societal norms.  But, the dress code does NOT restrict men from wearing dresses.  It DOES restrict WOMEN from wearing shorts though.  So it's completely fair...NO ONE is to wear shorts to dinner.  But ANYONE can wear a dress to dinner.  So there you go.

Societal norms are anchored in the patriarchy, ie what men find sexy.
