Question regarding onboard credit

Hello all, help please.  Possibly a silly question... with onboard credit is it only available to spend whilst onboard or can I purchase shore excursions before I sail?  Trying to decide between select and saver fare.

You cannot purchase excursions pre cruise with OBC but you can once onboard if they are still available and they might be dearer.

Only to be spent on board.  You could wait until boarding and hope your chosen excursions aren't sold out.

Depending on where you are cruising,  there are lots of independent companies that offer excursions,  normally at a lot lower price than P&O.

Very true but cheaper still (if available!) if you can use your obc supposing like many you have a large amount to spend.
